From 1997 to 2002, Daniel Moder was married to Vera Steimberg. In the year 2000, he met his second wife, actress Julia Roberts, on the set of her film The Mexican.
He and Roberts married on July 4, 2002, in a small ceremony at her ranch in Taos, New Mexico, after his divorce from Steimberg was finalised.
They have three children: twins, Hazel Patricia and Phinnaeus Walter, born November 28, 2004, and Henry Daniel, born June 18, 2007.
